Collaborating with industry, utilities, and other organizations is critical to the vision of the Bits & Watts Initiative. We have created a flexible industry engagement model that allows companies to participate in a number of ways that can be customized to best align with each organization’s goals.

Membership Benefits

The Bits & Watts Affiliate Program offers companies and institutions the following benefits, which vary depending upon membership level:

• Acknowledgement and recognition on the Precourt Institute for Energy and Bits & Watts Initiative websites
• Invitations to Bits & Watts Initiative symposia and workshops. Site presentations and all information, data, and results arising from such visitation interactions will be shared with all members and the public.
• Facilitated access to Bits & Watts Initiative research results
• Invitations to Precourt Institute for Energyʼs events and activities
• Facilitated engagement with Stanford faculty and students
• Visiting Scholars: term residencies at Stanford for industrial researchers that promote in-depth interaction between academic researchers and professionals in the field (in accordance with Stanfordʼs Visiting Scholar policies)
