Mike Coleman is Vice President and Chief Information Officer at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI).
From 2007 to 2016 Coleman served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Comporium, Inc., a privately held group of companies providing Internet, Cable TV, Data Centers, and other telecommunications services. He was active in various venture capital startups in the home automation and security space, and led various strategic planning and new business development initiatives.
From 2004 to 2007 Coleman served as Vice President, IT, for Advance Auto Parts in Roanoke, Virginia, with responsibilities for store, corporate, and distribution center technologies.
From 1998 to 2004, Coleman served as IT Director for Lowe’s Home Improvement in Mooresville, North Carolina, with responsibilities for store systems, distribution center technologies, and corporate systems.
Prior to joining Lowe’s, Coleman held positions of increasing responsibility with various companies including petroleum, publishing, and education.
Coleman earned a bachelor’s degree in computer electronics from Berea College in Berea, Kentucky.
